Mr. Shang is a Calgary-based visual artist, an exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and an art educator. Passionate about painting since childhood, he studied visual communication design at the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. As an experienced visual designer, he worked in commercial visual design in Beijing for 18 years. Since 2017, while advancing his personal artistic practice in Canada, he has established an art studio and is dedicated to art education for students ranging from early childhood to adults, guiding many students into Canada's top art institutions.

我们的画室位于美丽的 Discovery Ridge 社区。作为一名有着20余年艺术工作经验的艺术教育工作者，我的画室涵盖了从幼儿到成人的艺术教学探索和课程，并致力于高中生申请艺术类大学的作品集的辅导。多年来，我们很自豪地陪伴了多名零基础的学生见证他们成功叩开加拿大顶尖艺术院校（如OCAD，Emily Carr，AUArts等）的大门。在多年的教学实践中，我深知“创意”是每个孩子生来便拥有的天赋，每个人都不缺乏天马行空的想象，缺的往往是如何将脑海中的画面准确付诸笔端的能力。因此，我的教学理念始终坚信艺术学习绝非盲目的随心所欲，而是通过科学、系统且有效的方法，为天性装上技巧的羽翼，从而准确、深刻地表达自己的独特创意。我的课程不固定画种，会通过多种材料和多画种（例如彩铅素描、马克笔、水彩、丙烯画、油画棒等）让孩子们体验不同材料和画种的特点和区别，重点学习造型、色彩等美术基础知识，从而建立兴趣并最终有能力表达自己的想法。按照年龄和水平分为5个级别的课程以及成人课程。如果您想了解更多关于 MeowPapa Art Studio 的故事、我们的课程设置，欢迎随时与我们联系微信号：q853076445
